Editorial policy and evidence standards
Stariy.com aims to help readers make technical decisions without hiding uncertainty. Every substantive article should make its evidence boundary visible.
Claims and sources
Material claims should identify a source, observation date, confidence, context, privacy boundary, status, and decision authority where relevant. Sources should be linked when they are public and safe to disclose. A source does not automatically make a claim current, universal, or applicable to a different configuration.
Facts, observations, and inference
Documented facts, direct observations, inference, and opinion should not be presented as interchangeable. Unknowns remain unknown. Conflicting evidence remains visible until an authorized decision or stronger evidence resolves it.
Tests and comparisons
A test should state the job, versions, date, inputs, evaluation criteria, constraints, and known limitations. Comparisons should not manufacture a universal winner when the result depends on the workload or operating context.
Client confidentiality
Client and project information is NDA-protected by default. Only non-identifying, anonymized examples may be considered, and each final example requires Owner NDA review before publication. Names, recognizable combinations of details, exact sensitive metrics, private screenshots, raw exports, internal documents, credentials, security configurations, and personal data remain excluded unless separately authorized for that exact publication.
Commercial relationships
Sponsorships, affiliate relationships, supplied access, and other material conflicts must be disclosed before they can affect a reader’s interpretation. A conclusion should be written from the evidence, not from a commercial link.
Corrections and updates
Material corrections should state what changed and when. A revised article should preserve enough history for readers to understand whether the evidence, product, price, method, or conclusion changed.
